Mozambique, Africa

I have a lot of blogging to catch up on, but long story short…..I’m on my way to Mozambique, Africa for 2.5 months! I will be co-leading a team of all women, 7 students and my co-leader Lindsay. We just finished the lecture phase of the PhotogenX Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii, and now we are beginning the outreach phase. Hard to believe that 4 years ago this past April I was a student in this same program and heading off to Brazil, India and around the world. Our team will be working with Iris Ministries, Heidi Bakers organization. We have been asked to visit 3 different bases, serving in many different capacities, but also to provide new imagery for their website. I must confess, my greatest fear for this trip is not going into a country of great unknowns, but leading this group of mainly 18-21 year old women. I pray for patience, love, wisdom and strength! But I also know I will be learning and growing so much from this summer!  Come on!
